CHS Marching Band

The Cheney High School Marching Band has become on of the top performing ensembles at Cheney High School the last couple of years. The CHSMB is one of the premiere marching bands in the Pacific Northwest winning many awards each and every marching band season. Recently the CHSMB is the two time Sweepstakes winner at the Puget Sound Festival of Bands in Everett, WA.

The Marching Band is open to all students at Cheney HS that play an instrument and spin a flag, rifle, or sabre. There are even opportunities for students that are interested in audio tech and sound reinforcement.

The Cheney HS Marching Band is planning our first ever long distance trip to the Bands of America Grand National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana in November 2024. Our goal is that this trip or something similar becomes an every four year journey. This will allow every student to have the opportunity to participate in a long distance, multi-day trip in their time at CHS.
